Iowa Floods
Thursday, June 19th, 2008Our brothers and sisters in Iowa have suffered greatly as a result of nature’s fury. Tornadoes, heavy rains and rivers cresting at twice their normal flood stage have devastated major cities and towns. The recovery process for those affected by these events will take months. Bishop Scarfe of the Diocese of Iowa has set up a Crisis Relief Fund to assist in this effort. You can make donations online go to donation website or by sending a check to Flood Relief, Diocese of Iowa, 225 37th Street, Des Moines, IA 50312 (make check payable to Diocese of Iowa - Flood Relief).
