Flower Guild

Wednesday, September 13th, 2006

St. Hilda - St. Patrick’s Flower Guild provides floral decoration and/or greenery for the Altar and narthex each Sunday. It also, with the help of the Altar Guild and other individuals, decorates the entire sanctuary for the great festivals of Christmas and Easter. The Flower Guild currently has five members whose goals are: to create flower arrangements which glorify God and enhance worship; to learn about and increase flower arranging skills; and to enjoy the creativity that is an essential part of this ministry. Working individually, members obtain and arrange flowers for the Sunday services. Flowers and greenery often come from home gardens or may be purchased with funds furnished through contributions from those dedicating flowers for a particular Sunday or from general donations.
