School will soon be out, and this means no more school breakfasts or lunches provided for children. We usually get more requests in the summer from families who are either paying their bills or buying groceries, but who can’t afford to do both. We give thanks for all of the people who remember to contribute something each week to the Food Pantry, and request your help during the Summer months as well, to keep it well stocked.
Thanks to everyone who is helping to keep our Food Pantry stocked, and to the Sunday school members who are keeping it organized. We have some regular guests who use the Food Pantry, and it is wonderful to be able to provide this needed service to them. A big thank you also to Scout Troop 123, whose members had a food drive at QFC recently, and donated 24 bags of groceries, cash, and a $25 gift card from QFC to be used for the Food Pantry or the Holiday Food Baskets. With your help, this has become a very successful ministry to the community.
