Who We Are
St. Hilda St. Patrick’s church community includes people of all ages! We understand ourselves to be the hands, feet, heart and compassion of Jesus Christ for the world, and we are a place where everybody is somebody. Living our faith in our neighborhoods and the world around us is an important part of our spiritual lives: and we strive to achieve this through outreach and through the various ministries and opportunities to serve at our church. As an Episcopal church, we are part of the Diocese of Olympia and the larger Episcopal Church, which is a member of the Anglican Communion.

Children and families of all ages are welcome at St. Hilda St. Patrick. Younger children (and any accompanying noise!) are welcome and valued participants in our worship. They are also welcome to step out as needed (from time to time the vicar’s husband has been known to step out briefly with their baby to change a diaper!) A table is available in the nave for those who prefer to stay with their parents, but need a little something to do. A rocker and soft space are available for those needing extra attention.
Youth Group meets regularly to share a meal, take a field trip or work on service projects. Youth are active participants in worship at St. Hilda St. Patrick, taking a turn to read the scriptures and sometimes giving a weekly talk.
