O God, we pray for all people in their daily life and work. For our families, friends, and neighbors, and for those who are alone. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For this community, the nation, and the world. For all who work for justice, freedom, and peace. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For the just and proper use of your creation. For the victims of hunger, fear, injustice, and oppression. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For all who are in danger, sorrow, or any kind of trouble. For those who minister to the sick, the friendless, and the needy. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For the peace and unity of the Church of God. For all who proclaim the Gospel, and all who seek the Truth. We pray for the Church of Ireland, and for the faith communities of Episcopal Retirement; Mission to Seafarers; and Seattle Service Corps. We pray also for the members of the All Saints Goshen congregation, who worship in our building. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For Michael, our presiding bishop; Melissa and Brian, our Bishops; Joseph, our priest; for the person who will become the next Bishop of Olympia; and for all bishops and other ministers. For all who serve God in his Church. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
For the special needs and concerns of this congregation. For all who struggle with addiction and recovery, especially the groups who meet in our building. We pray for those who have commended themselves to our prayers: Macy; Emily, Paige, and their family; Karen; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Giles; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
We thank you, Lord, for all the blessings of this life. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
We will exalt you, O God our King, and praise your Name for ever and ever. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
We pray for all who have died, that they may have a place in your eternal kingdom. We remember especially Sandy; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
Lord, let your loving-kindness be upon those who put their trust in you. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
We thank you for the friends celebrating birthdays and anniversaries this week, especially Chris; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. Hear us, O God. For your mercy is great.
AMEN.
