November 16: Weekly Prayers

Grant, Almighty God, that all who confess your Name may be united in your truth, live together in your love, and reveal your glory in the world.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Empower All Saints Goshen, which meets in our building, and all church plants, restarts, and missions of Good News.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Raise up The Episcopal / Anglican Province of Alexandria; St. Luke’s, Seattle; and St. Stephen’s, Seattle.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Guide the people of this land, and of all the nations, in the ways of justice and peace; that we may honor one another and serve the common good.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Give us all a reverence for the earth as your own creation, that we may use its resources rightly in the service of others and to your honor and glory.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Bless all whose lives are closely linked with ours, and grant that we may serve Christ in them, and love one another as he loves us.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Shelter all who are vulnerable to immigration enforcement, those in hiding, and those who are detained. Shower your blessings upon those who help them. Call to account all who do them harm, and all who allow hatred to grow in their hearts.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Strengthen all who struggle with addiction, and those in recovery, especially the groups that meet in our building,

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Comfort and heal all those who suffer in body, mind, or spirit; especially Miriam and her family; Megan; Diana; Jenny; Carol; Gerry; Jose and his family; Susy; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; Karen; Nancy; Sandy; Emily; and Tim. Give them courage and hope in their troubles, and bring them the joy of your salvation.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

We commend to your mercy all who have died, especially Mike and Alec that your will for them may be fulfilled; and we pray that we may share with all your saints in your eternal kingdom.

In thanksgiving for all the blessings of this life, especially the birthdays and anniversaries of Kerry and Andrea & Tom.

God in your mercy, hear our prayer.

O Christ of the poor and the yearning: Kindle in our hearts within a flam of love for our neighbors, for our foes, for our friends, for our kindred all. From the humblest thing that lives to the Name that is highest of all. Kindle in our hearts within a flame of love.
