January 4: Weekly Prayers

For the peace from above, for the loving-kindness of God, and for the salvation of our souls.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For the peace of the world, for the welfare of the Holy Church of God, and for the unity of all peoples.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For our Sean our Presiding Bishop, Phil our Bishop, and for all the clergy and people.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For All Saints Goshen, which meets in this building, and all church plants, restarts, and missions of Good News.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For The Church of the Province of Central Africa; and Holy Spirit, Battle Ground; St. Matthew’s, Castle Rock; St. James, Cathlamet.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For Donald our President, Bob our Governor, for the leaders of the nations, and for all in authority.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Mukilteo, for every city and community, and for those who live in them.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For seasonable weather, and for an abundance of the fruits of the earth.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For the good earth which God has given us, and for the wisdom and will to conserve it.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For those who travel.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For the aged and infirm, for the widowed and orphans, and for the sick and the suffering.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

Watch over, we pray, all who are vulnerable to immigration enforcement, for those in hiding, and  those who are detained. Shower your blessings upon those who help them. Call to account all who do  them harm, and all who allow hatred to grow in their hearts.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For all who struggle with addiction, and those in recovery, especially the groups that meet in this building.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For Leslie; Monica; Dalton; Helen; Jose and his family; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Vicky; Christine; Sue; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; Karen; Nancy; Sandy; Emily; Tim; Susy.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For the poor and the oppressed, for the unemployed and the destitute, for prisoners and captives, and for all who remember and care for them. .

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For all who have died in the hope of the resurrection, and for all the departed, especially David and Ed.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

For deliverance from all danger, violence, oppression, and degradation.

Let us pray to the Lord, Lord have mercy.

Almighty and eternal God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth: Mercifully accept the prayers of your people, and strengthen us to do your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
