November 30: Weekly Prayers

Come to your Church as Lord and judge. We pray for The Anglican Church of Australia, St. Alban’s, Edmonds, Redeemer, Kenmore, and All Saints Goshen which meets in our building. Help us to live in the light of your coming and give us a longing for your kingdom.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to your world as King of the nations. We pray for the president, the governor, and all who whole authority in the nations of the world. Before you rulers will stand in silence.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to immigrants and refugees as one who has fled oppression. Watch over, we pray, all who are vulnerable to immigration enforcement, for those in hiding, and  those who are detained. Shower your blessings upon those who help them. Call to account all who do  them harm, and all who allow hatred to grow in their hearts.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to the suffering as Saviour and comforter. We pray for Martha; Christopher and his family; Maxwell, Leah, and their family; Miriam and her family; Megan; Diana; Jenny; Carol; Gerry; Jose and his family; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; Karen; Nancy; Sandy; Emily; Tim; Susy; and those we name now, either silently or aloud. Break into our lives, where we struggle with sickness and distress, and set us free to serve you for ever.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to the powerless as the Great Physician. We pray for all who struggle with addiction, and those in recovery, especially the groups that meet in our building. Bring healing to those who cry for it.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to us as shepherd and guardian of our souls. We remember Mark; Rollo; Ruth; Mike; Alec; and those dead we name now, either silently or aloud. Give us with all the faithful departed a share in your victory over evil and death.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come to the joyful as the source of all goodness. We give thanks for all the blessings of this life, especially the birthday of Tiffany. Make us aware of your daily goodness, mercy, and blessings.

Maranatha, Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Come from heaven, Lord Jesus, with power and great glory. Lift us up to meet you, that with Hilda, Patrick, Catherine of Alexandria, Barbara of Nicomedia, Margaret of Antioch, James Otis  Sargent Huntington, Kamehameha and Emma of Hawaii, Andrew the Apostle, and all your saints and angels we may live and reign with you in your new creation.
