Messy
18″ x 22″ x 0.5″
Cotton fabric, batting and thread

It gets a little messy on the other side of the rainbow … knowing that the answers are there but we may not be asking the right questions drives us to confusion. But Love our Sanctuary, no matter how messy, is still there.

Laundry
40″ x 42″ x 0.5″
Cotton fabric, cotton and metallic thread and cotton batting

Our committees are joyful and creative for me
Only when I can accept my own imperfection
When I can rush out with my sense of omission and commission
And hang them on the cross as I hang out the laundry.

collage

This collage represents the congregation of SHSP with open hands of welcome. The Dove represents the Holy Spirit, who we welcome into our lives with open hearts. It also symbolizes the fragility of life and the compassion we nurture in our hearts for all beings. The hands form a nest, symbolizing a refuge for peace, love, and hope to thrive within our community.
