Come see what the Season of Lent is about.

Arts & Events

At St. Hilda St. Patrick Episcopal Church, we believe that creativity and spirituality are deeply connected. Through artistic expression, we give thanks for God’s creation and honor the Creator. The arts also have a unique power to bring people together, opening space for community and inviting the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Our patron saints offer inspiring examples of how learning, culture, and the arts can shape and strengthen community. St. Hilda of Whitby (614–680), a remarkable 7th-century abbess, made Whitby Abbey a vibrant center of learning, culture, and artistic life in Anglo-Saxon England. St. Patrick (c. 385/392–461) played a vital role in the growth of literacy, education, and cultural life in Ireland, weaving together local traditions with Christian faith. He is also associated with the Celtic cross, a powerful symbol that unites the Christian cross with ancient imagery of the sun.

Following their example, we seek to nurture creativity as a sacred gift—one that enriches our faith, deepens our connections, and reflects the beauty of God’s presence among us.
