March 5: Weekly Prayers

Lord, we pray for those whom you have called to teach and lead our communities of faith in the  Episcopal church, especially Joseph, Melissa, and Michael. In the Anglican Communion, we pray for  Church of the Province of South East Asia. In our Diocese of Olympia, we pray for Ascension, Seattle;  Epiphany, Seattle; and St. Clement of Rome, Seattle.  Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for those who lead our nation, especially Joseph and Kamala, their advisors, and their  families. We ask for your mercy upon them, and through them, in the hope of building a kinder, safer  nation for us all.  Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for your creation, the earth and all its living beings. Help us to see our beautiful world  with wonder and gratitude again, and in our new appreciation, move us to protect your glorious  works from destruction. Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for your entire flock, especially our neighbors in Edmonds, Everett, Snohomish,  Marysville, Mukilteo, and in all the communities that our congregation touches. We ask you to keep  us warm, well, and hopeful as we await the coming Spring.  Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for the world at large, and all the people we share this one planet with. Turn us all  toward the way of peace, and let us be messengers of your mercy wherever we travel. Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we ask that you send your saving help to all who are suffering, especially to those who have  commended themselves to our prayers: Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Giles; Denice; Jim;  Richard; Emily; Nathan and Crysta; Roy; Megan and her family; Sean; and those we now name, either  silently or aloud. Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for those who have died, resting now in the eternal light of your presence. We pray  especially for: Ella; Ron; Nakota; Barbara; Lennon; and those we now name, either silently or aloud. Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …

Lord, we pray for and rejoice with those celebrating birthdays, including Tyson; and those celebrating  anniversaries, including those we now name, either silently or aloud. Bless us, Lord, and make us a blessing …
