God most venerable, we pray for our presiding bishop, Sean; our bishop, Phil; and our vicar, Joseph. We lift up to you this holy gathering, and the people of God in every place.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for the leaders of the nations and all in authority, and for mercy, justice, and peace among all peoples. Bless, we pray, the Anglican Church of South America.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for good weather, abundant fruits of the earth, and peaceful times.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for our diocese, especially the faith communities of Good Shepherd and St. Luke’s/San Lucas, Vancouver; and the congregation of All Saints Goshen. Bless our city and those who live in it; our families; companions; and all those we love. We remember the birthdays and anniversaries of those we now name, either silently or aloud.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for all those in danger and need: the hungry and the thirsty, strangers and the naked, the sick and those in prison. We ask you to bless those who have commended themselves to our prayers: Mariam; Alec; Leah, Maxwell, and their family; Dale; Charlie and his family; Sila; Eric and Jay; Dee and her family; Susy; Chris; Cheryl; Luke; Ava; Sarah; Monica; Tim; Michael; Emilio; Ian; Barbara; Christine; Sue; Giles; Denice; Jim; Richard; Suzanne; Karen; Will; Janette; Nancy; Sandy; Emily; and those we now name, either silently or aloud.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for those who rest in Christ and for all the dead. We remember Ruth; Ed; and those we now name, either silently or aloud.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
We pray for our deliverance from all affliction, strife, and need. Bless those who struggle with addiction and recovery, especially those who meet in our building.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
Lifting our voices with all creation, with Hilda, Patrick, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and all the saints, let us offer ourselves and one another to you, our living God, through Christ.
Holy God, have mercy on us.
Amen.
