O God, we pray for all people in their daily life and work. For our families, friends, and neighbors, and  for those who are alone. Hear us, O God. For your mercy  is great. For this community, the nation, and the world. For all who work for justice, freedom, and peace. Hear us, O God. For

God of glory, give your church ardent spirits in your service. Generous God, you have graciously given the members of your church diverse gifts. May we, who are  many, function in this world as the one body of your son Jesus Christ.
